A little story … we were lost in the streets of San Gimignano and we got lucky to ask for directions and Guido was kind enough to give some advices we also ask for a good restaurant he give us some including Cum Quibus we ask is it good ? He responded yes it is we trusted him and we said with out knowing how fantastic experience we will have on this restaurant ,we replied..…yes will see you there for dinner .
and I have to say his words were very modest …..this restaurant it is a must !!!!!if you visiting this town you have to have this experience it was fantastic ,delicious ,scrumptious wam ambiance,every plate was beautifully arranged great assortment of wines and you feel the love in every plate which make it taste the original flavor of an Italian kitchen

Well prepared and tasty food! The 63degree egg was very nicely done, and the generous truffle on top elevated it further. The sous vide cooked beef was also very tender and tasty.
We visited two times in our 1 week trip. Overall, the experience was nice, and we also got to interact with Lorenzo (likely the owner), who was our server. He was helpful in sharing a few good recommendations for other restaurants, and all of them were very good.
The restaurant is small but can be cozy, depending on the table you get. As a point of improvement, I recommend that the kitchen door is closed - we were positioned close to the door in the first night, and it can get quite noisy at times.
Thank you, Lorenzo, for taking our feedback into account in our second visit and for being so flexible to change the chef's menu courses so we can have a fresh/new experience the second time.

Divine. We took the tasting menu where every course was worth five stars. The staff is extremely professional, present and friendly. We enjoyed. They completed our stay in this wonderful place.
Just divine! Beef carpaccio, home made green tagliatelle with lamb ragu and pasta pici were symphony of taste. Coupled with the wonderful atmosphere in the little intimate terrace in the heart of the old town, this restaurant is a true gem.

We absolutely loved our visit to Cum Quibus. The food was delicious. As it was a warm evening we were seated in the courtyard at the back of the restaurant- the courtyard was tastefully designed and the lighting was beautiful. We chose the tasting menu which had the Mezzovo (yolk special), tagliatelle, Gnudi, pork cheek and finished with tiramisu. The food was all individually delicious. What brought tasting menu down was the general balance, it was all extremely rich food (very creamy) which I generally love but even for me it was a little too much. I think the portion sizes could be reduced and a slight lift needed to the gnudi with some acidity. I would definitely visit this restaurant again, the staff were so attentive and friendly. Thanks to the team for a wonderful evening :)

San Gimignano hack: visit when there are scattered showers in the forecast. It won’t be nearly as crowded.
It is critics on a very high level, but cannot give full points unfortunately. Service was fantastic and overall the dishes were excellent, especially their signature dish Mezzovo. Unfortunately, the primi were lacking some finesse. E.g. The Gnudi were nice, but the dish was missing some balance (lack of acid, salt...). On the other hand, I had the best Tiramisu so far 👍
The food is good, we did the tasting menu and we liked most of the dishes.
Book in advance to get a seat outdoor during summer. Good selection of wines.
